SALES / PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. Start a New Sale

1. Log in to your Lightspeed POS account.

2. Confirm you’re in the correct store location and correct register (shown at the top left of screen).

2. Add Products to Cart

1. Scan barcodes where possible — this ensures correct variant and price.

2. Use Quick Keys for common items (like single pods or coils).

3. Use the Search Bar to find products by name or SKU (Last 6 digits of the barcode).

4. Double-check product strength/flavour before continuing.

3. Confirm Details

• Review the cart for accuracy (product, quantity, price).

• Add Customer for warranties.

• Ask the customer:

  “Is this everything we are after today? Do you need any juice or extra pods and coils?”

4. Choose Payment Method

💵 Cash

1. Tap Cash.

2. Enter the amount given (e.g., $50).

3. Lightspeed will show change due — count out loud when giving change.

4. Tap Complete Sale.

5. Offer receipt to customer.

💳 EFTPOS (Windcave)

1. Tap Windcave By Vend → ensure the Windcave terminal is connected.

2. Customer taps, inserts, or swipes their card.

3. Wait for the “Approved” message on the terminal.

4. Once complete, Lightspeed automatically finalises the sale.

5. Offer receipt to customer.

💸 Split Payment (Cash + Card)

1. Edit the cash amount in the top right corner on the payment screen.

2. Enter the amount the customer wants to pay in Cash first.

3. Vend will prompt for the remaining balance → choose Card.

4. Process EFTPOS as usual through Windcave.

5. Once both payments are complete → sale finalises automatically.

🧾 Afterpay (ONLY FOR SEDUCTIVA)

1. MUST BE A ELIGIBLE SEDUCTIVA PRODUCT (NO VAPE OR SMOKING PRODUCTS)

2. Tap Windcave at the payment screen.

3. Customer taps their afterpay card on Windcave terminal.

4. Once approved, Vend marks the sale as complete.

5. Finish the Sale

1. Offer the customer their receipt

2. Thank the customer and prepare for the next sale.
